Pallet delivery information for customers
Pallet Deliveries Mainland England, Wales and Scotland and the rest of the UK
Goods shipped via pallet delivery companies are by their nature larger and heavier. It is important that suitable unloading equipment is made available. It might be possible to arrange a tail-lift delivery this must be requested during your shopping cart check out.
Standard delivery service. Your items are usually delivered within 5 working days* (if in stock), you will be notified by email or text message depending on transport type advising delivery information.
Express delivery. Your items will be shipped as soon as possible (if in stock) you will be notified by email or text message depending on transport type advising delivery information.
* Working days = Monday to Friday less bank holidays.
In the event of a customer agreeing to delivery and then not being at home during the agreed time period, a redelivery charge per pallet will be made.
Delivery drivers are not expected to manoeuvre the pallet beyond the rear of the vehicle but will always be as helpful as possible where conditions allow.
In the event of a delivery not being possible due to poor access or gravel drive then the delivery will have to be "roadside" (i.e. left as near to the property as possible).
All goods must be checked on arrival and delivery paperwork signed by a responsible person, appointed by the purchaser unless a prior agreement has been made with the delivery company to leave the goods at the property at which point these will be left at the customer's risk.
Any delivery issues must be reported immediately to Zero Ridge.
In the event of any dispute resulting in the goods being returned to Zero Ridge, payment will be refunded to the customer less all charges.
Lead times may extend during busy periods.
Before signing for goods
It is very important that you inspect the goods for any possible damage. Even if you suspect the goods might be slightly damaged sign the consignment note as goods received damaged. If you do not do so, it will not be possible for the goods to be replaced as you will have confirmed that you received them in good condition.
